This image was created at about 3 a.m. on Lolo Pass on the Idaho/Montana border. It was used on the cover of the photo annual of PLOW magazine. With over 8 feet of vert and transitions that could launch a space shuttle, the MONTANA sign was beyond challenging. Pictured here set up in the Bitterroot Valley, the sign, accompanying ramps, runway and supports didn't exactly travel light or easy but still managed to make appearances across the Montana landscape until it's demise in 2009. Tony Hawk, his amazing mobile vert ramp, and a few of his friends helped christen Missoula's MOBASH skatepark in September of 2006. An estimated 10,000 people showed up to check it out. The first attempt seemed to go pretty well, meaning no one got hurt and nothing got burned..that wasn't supposed to. Here Kurt Scott lives out his Fall Guy fantasies in East Missoula.
